Anna Elkins and I did a little walk up to mid-treeline below Dolomite Shoulder today. She has just gotten over a month long flu so it’s a great little forest lap to grab some quick exercise. Some of the skin tracks are now starting to facet out which made some of the steeper sections more difficult to use. It was pretty cold when we left Lake Louise but warmer around Dolomite Shoulder, I’d assume there is a weak inversion currently in the greater area. No wind, sunny and no one else skiing in the area.

I wonder how this place got so popular all of a sudden?
