Spent the day on Dolomite Shoulder with Mark Amos and Maria Eriksson where we found some great snow in the alpine.

Almost at the top…

The recent short storm has refreshed the shoulder area and loaded up the lee zones. We stuck to the main shoulder but I did ski along the top of the last alpine bowl but not close enough to test stability, it was not the day/group for that job. 5-10cm of creamy snow on top of old hard tracks and wind slab, obviously once and a while we’d hit a firm section but for the most part the runs were excellent. The lower forest is skiing back to the road was little rough but at least it’s filled in, expect spring like exits until we get a big snowfall.

Fun turns in fresh snow
