Headed to the Kicking Horse Pass area today with Sonia and Anna without a set plan and ended up at Great Divide Lodge heading for the south facing runout off Paget Peak.

We got up to about 2150m, did a lap and then went back for a shorter lap of the best section of snow. The top 1/3 of the runout was breakable crust but the bottom 2/3 was creamy. The trees are still holding good snow for those who can ski them.

We had moments of sun and got a bit of snowfall during the day. Much warmer than at any point during the last 2 weeks. Looked like a bigger system is about to hit us too.
